INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee we invite you to the 16th Congress of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, organized by the Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Northern Greece (EAEIBE) in Thessaloniki, September 29th – October 2nd 2022, Macedonia Palace Hotel.

EAEIBE has been organizing its Congress every two years since 1990 (the Covid-19 Pandemic period excluded) with Greek and International participation aiming to promote knowledge in Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Acute and Chronic Pain Management.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we canceled our Conference scheduled for 2020, believing that, in this way, we are promoting a sense of security to Colleagues and Partners, while at the same time, participating in the national effort to reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2. After two difficult years of unprecedented Health Crisis, we now return with a renewed willing and hope for knowledge and experiences’ exchange.

At this year’s Conference, we aim to enrich our knowledge with newer scientific achievements and, also, to provide the opportunity to younger colleagues for face-to-face training and skills’ acquisition in areas of their specialty, including new technology and emerging treatment options.

In the spirit of broad interdisciplinary cooperation, related Medical specialties will be represented at the Conference, as required by modern Medicine and already occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

With the participation of distinguished scientists from Greece and abroad, we will approach scientific issues of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, Acute and Chronic Pain, as well as Emergency Medicine. The scientific program includes thematic lectures, round tables, satellite symposia and clinical tutorials, and will be enriched with interactive presentations, meet the experts, poster sessions and scientific debates.

Anesthesiology and Intensive Care demonstrated throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic their broad scientific field and their crucial role in the management of national and international health crises.

With optimism for the future of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in the post-Covid-19 era, both in Greece and abroad, we invite you to the scientific and social events of our Conference to be held in Thessaloniki, a city of natural beauty, historical memories and a variety of cultural events.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the Conference is Greek.

EXHIBITION
During the Congress, there will be an exhibition and trade fair of pharmaceutical companies, surgery products and diagnostic equipment, in a special setting, where there will be direct access through the rooms that all the sessions take place.

REGISTRATION

• The participation for doctors, trainees and nurses includes:
  Attendance of the scientific program – meetings, visiting the exhibition space, bag including all the printed conference material, certificate of participation, coffee during the breaks, participation in the opening ceremony and the reception cocktail.
• The participation for students includes:
  Attendance of the scientific program – meetings, visit to the exhibition space, scientific program, certificate of participation, coffee during breaks.

* Registration fees are applicable to 24% VAT.

ACCOMMODATION

• The above prices are for one night and include breakfast & taxes.
  Prices do not include accommodation tax, which is paid directly by the resident during Check in.
• In order the reservation to be valid, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required and full payment by 31/7/2022.
